Poisonous People

I am scared of two things.

The Dark.

and

Snakes.

But mostly snakes.

Did you know that when a snake has just been decapitated there is still a likely hood that the head will involuntarily strike? And the worst part about it is that when dead the snake cannot regulate how much venom so basically the victim would receive most of, if not all, the snake's venom. I also found out that a snake won't necessarily attack unless it is startled, scared, or threatened. It's sort of comforting to know, but not that comforting...  Perhaps this proves that snakes are misunderstood reptiles that don't really mean to be scary.

In life I've found that there are people and experiences that are poisonous. The only way to get rid of the poison is to extract them from your life. Talk about rough and tough!! Once you've entered any level or a relationship with a person there's a bond that hurts to break. But it comes down to whether you want to live or die within yourself without any hope of growing into a better person.

Normally poisonous people are keeping you back from acheiving your dreams and goals. The worst part about it is most of the time you can't see it. You can't see their hold on your life. So when the truth is revealed it can be a shock and the extraction of them from your life is a painful healing process. But you have to choose.

I chose. Recently, I chose to admit that I've made a myriad of mistakes in my life. Mistakes in choices of people, actions, and emotions. It is one of the hardest things right now letting go of them when I know in a way, it's not all their fault. I don't blame them. I don't blame myself. I just accept responsibility.

Anyway, people can be like snakes. They can be so nice until the moment you threaten their way of being and refuse to go along with the flow.
